Where they work

Pick a floor. See the machine that cleans it.

Indicative, from published throughput and a typical floor for that kind of building. Your figures come from the free assessment.

Work it out

How many machines does your floor need?

It is one calculation: your area, divided by how fast the machine goes, divided by the window you can give it. Move the sliders.

5,000 m²
4 h

Arithmetic, not a quote — it uses the published throughput of the class. Floor type, obstacles and traffic all move the real number, which is what the assessment establishes.

The part that is hard to budget

Floor cleaning costs more than the invoice says.

Not because anyone is doing it badly. Because it is physically punishing work, and the consequences of that land on the employer as absence, turnover and liability.

Sick leave runs above average

Studies across EU member states and Norway find sick leave among cleaners significantly higher than the workforce average. Every absence still needs the floor cleaned.

Bodies wear out

A meta-analysis found 38% higher odds of musculoskeletal symptoms among cleaning workers than non-cleaning workers. Bending, twisting and pushing, all shift, is the cause.

People leave

The sector runs high turnover, driven by temporary and short fixed-term contracts. Every leaver is a rehire, a retrain and a period of inconsistent output.

Nobody can prove it happened

Without a record of each pass, quality is an opinion. That matters when an auditor, a tenant or an infection-control team asks.

Sources: European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA), OSHwiki — cleaners and musculoskeletal disorders; Kumar et al. meta-analysis of musculoskeletal symptoms in cleaning work.

A machine does the same route on a Tuesday and on a bank holiday.

  • It does not call in sick, so no shift needs covering
  • It does not strain its back, so there is no claim
  • It does not resign, so there is nothing to retrain
  • It logs every pass, so quality stops being an opinion
  • Your staff move to detail work, restocking and customers

What the fee covers

Everything. That is the point of renting it.

How the service works

  • The machine, sized to your floor
  • Deployment, route mapping and commissioning
  • Servicing, parts and consumables
  • Software and autonomy updates
  • Staff training
  • A replacement unit if one goes down

The fleet

Ten machines, from a 39 cm slim unit to a ride-on.

We buy from whichever manufacturer leads a category and change our minds when a better platform ships. What stays constant is specifying the right machine for your building.
