Large format · one unit

12,000 m² of concourse, on one large machine

A concourse or a hypermarket floor is open, hard and permanently busy. This is where large-format throughput stops being a specification detail and becomes the whole business case.

Coverage arithmetic

At up to 1,980 m²/h, 12,000 m² is about six machine-hours — and the overnight closure is five. So it is two large-format units working separate halves inside the window, each finishing in about three hours. One unit could do it only by borrowing a low-traffic early-morning hour. Compact machines would need four units and four docks for the same floor.

04 What changes

What changes

One window, one pass

the whole concourse covered inside the overnight closure, with no second shift and nobody driving.

One dock visit

a 90 L tank and three-hour range mean each unit finishes its half before it needs the station.

Operators redeployed

from driving machines to the detail and response work that actually needs a person.
